We often get bombarded with negative energy and don’t even realize it. This negative energy can really makes our lives miserable if we are not consciously aware and allow it to stick around and spread.
Let’s take a Quick Energy Check –
How do you feel physically and emotionally?
TODAY – THIS MOMENT – BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF
When you have negative energy, you feel anxious, fearful, you worry, and you feel you are struggling and lacking energy. When waking up in the morning you feel lethargic, not having enough rest, no motivation to get started. Feeling powerless, having doubts, feel out of control and not having confidence to do what you need to do. You feel drained and that your life is just slipping away and so the list goes on…
When you have positive energy, you feel refreshed when waking up; want to be on the go, feel good and excited with high energy levels to get going! You are looking forward to every day with your intended undertakings. You feel confident that all will be well and expect the good in every day, with good, happy and joyful feelings!
Our thoughts and beliefs- How these energies came into effect in our lives?
Through our five senses – eyes, ears, taste, touch, feelings we absorb information which is stored in our subconscious. The meaning we attach to an experience results in how we feel about an experience. When we accept our thoughts and feelings for the truth – whether true or not – it become our belief about a specific situation and thus stay true for us until we challenge the validation of the specific belief we once formed.
Since these beliefs, thoughts, feelings are residing in our subconscious minds, we are not consciously aware of what goes around in our minds at any given moment. We just experience the outer result in our bodies – feeling drained, low energy, lethargy, lack of motivation, low confidence, feeling out of control, etc. The opposite is also true for having positive meanings attached to experiences – feeling energized and excitement to do something, courage to explore, confidence in what you do, etc.
So, now that we know the difference between negative and positive energy and how it is commonly manifested in our lives – how the one drains you and how the other boosts you, you may ask how I change negative energy to positive energy.

A quick exercise for testing:
Notice how you feel right now.
Find a still, comfortable spot, close your eyes, take 5 deep breaths, hold, exhaling slowly after each breath. When your mind starts to drift, slowly repeat to yourself:
“I feel calm and relaxed, Good things are now working out for me, I can make good choices now, I do feel in control now, I give thanks to all the good in my life today!”
(Adjust the words to fit your personal way of speaking)
In detail visualize yourself being calm, relaxed, content, and in control.
Feel it! Stay with this feeling for 2 – 3 minutes.
Open your eyes.
Notice how you feel NOW!
Exercise the above as many times as you want, until it is entrenched in your life.
